We are pleased to advise that Richmond Council has given Ham Fair committee permission to proceed with planning for Saturday 11 September 2021.

We want to deliver a safe event for everyone, in line with Covid guidelines, which will mean a few changes to previous years:

  • unfortunately there will be no Dog Show
  • there will be wider gaps between stalls
  • all food stalls to offer take-away only
  • there will be a designated Picnic Area and you are encouraged to bring your own picnic rug or fold-away chair
all stall-holders and visitors to endeavour to maintain social distancing and wear face-masks if required
there will be performances by local schools and bands
  • there will be Junior Art & Photo Competitions (see separate pages for details) and entries/winners will be displayed
We are now busy contacting stall-holders who had booked and paid, or just booked, for the twice-cancelled 2020 event.
If you had booked for 2020 and would like to have a pitch on Sat 11 Sept but have not yet received an email from us please contact us immediately on .

Please find links below to application forms for new stall-holders.

Stall-holder rates have been frozen for 2021:

We will verify applications with the organiser of the market.

Cut-off date for applications will be two weeks before the event. No refunds will be available for cancellations received after this date unless for unavoidable circumstances.

All visitors and stall-holders to adhere to Covid regulations and guidelines at time of event.
Equipment – all stallholders must provide their own gazebo’s, awning, tables, chairs, etc. All must adhere to Covid restrictions as stated by the Council at the time of the event.

No electricity or water is available at Ham Fair; power must be provided by stallholders’ diesel generators (as quiet as possible) or LPG (no petrol generators allowed).

Stall sharing – if you wish to share a stall with another trader/friend to save costs, this is acceptable, but this must be arranged between yourselves. Please only return one application form to us and advise if you wish to receive one or two invoices for the pitch cost.

Vehicles on Ham Common: only commercial food vans are allowed to remain on the Common during Ham Fair; all other stall-holders must remove their cars/vans once they have set-up their stall (no later than 10:30 a.m.) and only return to load-up at the end of the day (no earlier than 4:30 p.m.); there is plenty of free road parking on surrounding streets; traffic wardens issued tickets for some illegally parked cars during Ham Fair 2019 – so you’ve been warned!
