Are you, or do you know, an artistic young person? The Art Marquee at Ham Fair on Saturday Sept 11th showcases the best of our young local talent. Making an entry could be a great holiday project; there are very few rules, it’s a chance to get really creative!
The competition is open to any person up to the age of 16 who goes to school in Ham or lives in Ham or the surrounding neighbourhoods, e.g. Petersham, North Kingston, Richmond, Teddington or Twickenham.

One piece of art per person in any medium of any subject, up to A4 size, able to be mounted on a display board. (If the art is on thin paper, please mount on a slightly larger piece of thin card which will have the added benefit of creating a frame.)

Name, age and contact telephone number on reverse. If you want to display your name and age on front on the piece, write it on the mount frame. You can remain anonymous if you prefer, but we will want to identify you come first, second or third!

Entries are judged by a local artist and outstanding entries featured in the Ham and Petersham Magazine.
Judging will be in five categories according to age; 6 and under, 7 – 8, 9 – 11, 12 – 14, and 15 – 16 years.

If you haven’t heard about the competition from your Ham school, send your entry to Ham Fair Art Competition, 17 Neville Road, Richmond TW10 7QJ, to arrive no later than 6 September 2021.
Your artwork can be collected from the Art Marquee at Ham Fair from 4pm. If you are unable to attend, artwork can be collected at the above address with prior arrangement. Artwork submitted via schools will be returned to the schools.
We are unable to return entries by post and any entries that are not collected will be recycled.
